Mariachi Flores de Alegría
After a long but productive audition process, El Mariachi Flores de Alegria was founded by Alex Alegria. Flores de Alegría is Canada's only all girl mariachi band, comprising of seven women of diverse cultural backgrounds, hailing from Chile, the US , Canada and Mexico . Their debut performance in February 17th 2007 at La Casa del Artista in Vancouver , BC brought the audience to Mexico and had them asking for more!
Since their first performance, Flores continues to impact audiences everywhere, from private to public events as well as several local TV appearances.Although they are currently in studio with their debut album, songs like “Canta, Canta “ and “ Amaneci otra vez “ are already in rotation on local radio.
